Men of War: Vietnam brings the acclaimed real time tactics series to a new battlefield. The game recreates the chaos of the Vietnam War through two story-driven campaigns that present the conflict from both sides. Events unfold in the jungles of Southeast Asia in 1968, where limited visibility and difficult terrain directly shape gameplay.
The game features two narrative campaigns. The American campaign follows a US special forces squad operating behind enemy lines without reinforcements. The North Vietnamese campaign follows Soviet military advisors and NVA soldiers during the Tet Offensive across Cambodia, Laos, and the Mekong Delta.
Gameplay builds on the core strengths of Men of War: interactive environments, destructible terrain, detailed ballistics, and a wide range of infantry weapons and vehicles. The Vietnam setting introduces new combat conditions where jungles, swamps, and rivers restrict movement and visibility, making ambushes and close range combat essential. Tactical decisions become harsher, and mistakes more costly.
