We are pleased to announce a new project by YiBin BeiAi Game Development Studio, also known as Beiai Societies (北爱社). Beiai Societies is renowned for their exceptional mods, including Soul of War and Warlord Melee 1917-1928 for Men of War: Assault Squad 2.
Beiai Societies (北爱社) plans to develop “1937: Songhu Defense Line” as a standalone title powered by the GEM RTS Engine. This project is set during the 1937 Shanghai-Songhu campaign, prior to World War II. This game is inspired by Faces of War and will deliver a rich single-player experience. Beiai Societies aims to release a demo within two years. During this journey, in addition to offering consulting and technical support, Best Way will be directly involved in programming and engine improvements.
To further empower the modding community, Beiai Societies is exploring the addition of Chinese localization to the GEM editor and the development of a Blender plugin to streamline model exports from Blender. These enhancements aim to make modding more accessible and foster greater creativity among a wider audience.
